There are many similarities between the teachings of Christ and the teachings of both the Budda and Lao Tzu. Indeed he suggested that his disciples become as children and to learn from them, something Lao Tzu mentioned some 600 years previously. Now as Israel was at the end of the long trade route that spanned from China to the near east and as we know that from an early age he had a strong interest in spiritual matters by the fact that he was found questioning the teachers in the temple when he was just 12 years old, it seems probable that he also listened to the beliefs of travelling merchants also and adopted some of there views that he used in his later ministry. It is strange. What do you look in a "Saviour"? Merely to turn fishes to loaves? Then any magicians that could do that is fit to be a "Saviour"? Maybe Satan himself could well do the same! And Satan definitely "beat the shit" out of many lesser demons and angels! What exactly are you looking for in a "Saviour"? And what are you hoping that this Saviour could save you? From Hell?
