The REAL Maitreya – actual prophecy

Question:

When I was here, Richard was something else… I came back for a bit and he was Coyote, and now he’s Dayamati.

Around my colleagues at work, and in print publications, I’m still Richard. For a long time I wrote in various venues under the name Mubul, my former nom de zazen. Coyote was a nickname given me by an anthropologist of American native people who noted my fondness for playing the trickster. Dayamati was a name given to me when I was ordained in January. Sorry for all the confusion. Nothing is permanent, least of all a name. Oh yeah, and back then we had this guy called Dharmatroll

Also known as Tom Bombadil and Warren Keffer, but known off the Net as Tom Eigelsbach, Jr. Bojanga was Bhava I think.

He got tired of being a kilesa and decided to become a misspelled factor of awakening instead. But underneath it all, he’s the same tedious repository of frighteningly narrow and literalistic dogmas. — May all beings have many names, Dayamati

Response:

(Follow-up to talk.religion.buddhism only please.)

Gileht: Why ? I usually do not change this.

Many people find cross-posts annoying, and since I’m on t.r.b only, there’s no reason to annoy others.  Unless of course you’re on a.r.b.t only, in which case, leave that in as well.  But I don’t like cross-posting to NGs that are not involved. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Yeah, I think I was here when it started.  Not in these other NGs, just in t.r.b.  When I was here, Richard was something else… I came back for a bit and he was Coyote, and now he’s Dayamati.  Oh yeah, and back then we had this guy called Dharmatroll, and Jackie was here, and Bojanga was Bhava I think.  Son Myoung Jae would be Jigme Dorje, I believe, unless I have him mixed up with someone else.  Did I miss anyone?  These were the regulars waaaay back when I used to frequent here.  Oh yeah, who can forget Mahasanti, whatever happened to him?  I used to piss him off by telling him he’s a pseudo-scientific quack (which he was).  LOL.  Oi, those were the days. There was this Maitreya too.

Oh yes… I remember him (or rather, his cronies).  I never saw them because I avoided posts that were written by them. I know Mubul had a lot of fun with him and his "bimboz" or something like that.

That’s who Richard was!  Mubul.  I think he had another name for a while too. I left for more than two years because it was stressing me too much. I was becoming too aggressive. I don’t remember Tang from those days. But EV was quite nice with everybody.

Probably Tang and I joined after you left. — David Yeung Before you buy.

Response:

folks. Tahng has just put his own philosophical approach of "just dropping it" on the table. Although his approach is based on nihilism, his ego is big anough to have accepted the challenge. He is betting his own reputation and ego on his capacity to live through his own self proclaimed "Buddhisme
